Art Award 2023
Students Receiving their Arts Award in Assembly

The Art Award Discover and Explore qualifications provide a great opportunity for students to delve into the world of arts and discover their artistic potential. By engaging in trips to local galleries, the pupils were able to gain inspiration and exposure to various forms of art. This firsthand experience likely broadened their understanding and appreciation for different artistic styles and techniques.

Completing their own art pieces is an excellent way for students to apply what they've learned and showcase their creativity. Sharing their work with their peers allows for mutual support and encouragement, fostering a sense of community within the classroom. It also provides an opportunity for students to receive constructive feedback and learn from one another.

By participating in the Art Award Discover and Explore qualifications alongside their regular art lessons, these 27 pupils have had the chance to develop their artistic skills and nurture their passion for the arts. It's an enriching experience that can help them grow as artists and individuals.

Below is some examples of our students work.
